This policy explains how Lezha Turistike handles information when you use the website and its features, including Plan Your Visit, interactive maps, ratings and consent-based analytics.

Visitors are not required to create an account. If you contact us by email, the information you send is used to respond and for the communication you requested. Hosting and technical infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, request time, device or browser type and similar information for security, diagnostics and website operation.
Plan Your Visit and itineraries
The “Plan Your Visit” feature processes your choices for visit duration, interests, transport mode, starting point and stops to build an itinerary. When you share an itinerary, tour parameters may be included in the URL. The QR feature uses an external service to generate a QR code from the itinerary link. Lezha Turistike does not require a name, email or account to create an itinerary.
Google Analytics
Lezha Turistike uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website usage, such as visits, pages viewed and interactions. Analytics is activated according to your consent choice where consent is required. Information is processed by Google under its own terms and policies. Our configuration is not intended to collect your name or email address and is not used for personalised advertising.
Consent and preferences
Your analytics choice is stored locally in the browser so the website can remember your preference. Day/Night Mode also stores the selected theme locally. Rejecting analytics does not prevent basic use of the website. You can reset these choices by clearing this website’s stored data in your browser.
Cuisine ratings
In Cuisine, the browser locally remembers that a place has been rated, while the 1–5 rating is sent to the website system and stored in Sanity to calculate the aggregate rating. This feature does not request a name or email.
External services and content
The website uses, embeds or links to third-party services, including Google Analytics, ArcGIS/Web GIS, Google Maps, YouTube, the QR-code service and links to websites, social networks or scientific sources. When you open or interact with these services, the relevant provider may receive technical data and use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies.
Retention and security
We aim to limit data to what is necessary for operation, security, communication, consented analytics and visitor-requested functions. Data directly controlled by us is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or legal obligations. Preferences stored in localStorage remain on your device until you delete them or they are replaced by the website/browser.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request information, access, correction or deletion of personal data controlled by us, and object to or restrict processing where those rights apply. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent for future analytics use.
